Habitat in a dictionary means "residential environment" or "home," and it is a volunteer service organization found in 1976 over 92 countries in the world to make comfortable residential environment for households with difficulties due to poor residential environment and excessive residential expenses.
- Binggrae and Habitat
- To prepare better home for our neighbors in poor environment, the entire company of Binggrae is actively participating in Habitat activities. Besides the fair amount of construction fund, Binggrae is supporting products and working clothes for volunteer workers, and many executives and employees join volunteer services, while the company supports for these services in terms of finance and time.
- A special bond with Habitat
- Binggrae made a special bond with Habitat since President Kim Ho-yeon of Binggrae and his first son joined the volunteer service of Habitat at Taebaek site in 2001. Back in 2001, President Kim Ho-yeon of Binggrae joined the Habitat construction not with the corporate title but personally, but this fact has been spotlighted by the press. Thereafter, employees were touched by this, and they voluntarily made an atmosphere to join the Habitat movement.
